Pogostemon stellatus  ( Eustralis )

Pogostemon stellatus, also known as Eustralis, is a stem plant characterized by its closely spaced whorls of leaves and distinctly colored leaf tips. This species is predominantly found in Asia and Australia, thriving in moist to marshy habitat conditions as well as at altitudes above 2000 meters. Cultivation in aquariums is challenging, as it requires soft water, intense light, a constant supply of CO2, and a balanced nutrient provision. When the stems reach the water surface, cutting and replanting the shoots can be performed. The cut stem typically exhibits the ability to produce new shoots.
