Hygrophila ringens 'Salicifolia', also known as Willow Leaf Hygrophila, originally comes from the wetlands of tropical Asia. This aquarium plant belongs to the Hygrophila ringens and Hygrophila lancea families. In its emersed form, it can reach heights of up to one meter. Its leaves are elongated, measuring approximately 10 to 15 cm in length and 3 cm in width. The plant can also produce light purple flowers in the leaf axils of emersed shoots.
