Eleocharis acicularis auf Matte
The dwarf hairgrass Eleocharis acicularis on mat is a grass-like aquarium plant native to the waters of Australia and New Zealand. This plant is characterized by its delicate, rigid growth form and is well-suited for the foreground of an aquarium. It prefers cooler water but also grows optimally in higher temperature ranges. Over time, it develops lateral runners that create a dense plant carpet. When introducing emersed-grown plants, it is recommended to trim them significantly and plant them at intervals of 5 cm. Within a few days, the first underwater leaves will appear.
