Echinodorus grisebachii 'Tropica'

Echinodorus grisebachii 'Tropica' is a small aquatic plant growing to a height of 5-10 cm. The exact origin of this variety is unknown, but it is suspected to have arisen from a mutation in an Asian nursery. It requires a higher light level compared to its original species and benefits from a good supply of nutrients as well as sufficient CO2 for optimal growth. When placed in nano cubes, it creates a striking contrast with more delicate plants when positioned individually. In larger aquariums, grouping several plants is recommended for a harmonious design.
